#65 VICKY FOX - AUTHOR OF YOGA FOR CANCER
Specialist Yoga teacher Vicky Fox (@yogaforcancer) shows how to mitigate the side effects of cancer diagnosis and treatment using yoga (‘breath-informed movement’), starting with A for Anxiety and working through to Z for Zzzzzz ( sleep/insomnia) to help anyone diagnosed with any type of cancer cope with the symptoms and side effects of treatment. They won’t have to read it from cover to cover but can dip into it at will to access information about a specific problem relevant to them personally. Movement is of proven benefit in cancer care and, while exercise may not always be possible, the gentleness of yoga breathing exercises ( pranayama), Physical postures ( asana), hand gestures ( mudras), and sounds/meditations ( mantras) allow it to be beneficial at all times.
Yoga For Cancer 40 hour training with triyoga starts 13th -16th June at Camden and Livestreamed. It is a live training so full attendance and completion of assignments is necessary.
There is a book launch on 2nd July 2-4pm at Chelsea triyoga and livestreamed for those who can’t attend.
