It’s been a year since we decided to have some honest conversations and dig deeper under that shiny surface of the wellness industry; discovering that the balanced-state is often a fleeting moment, with the rest of life being an ever-changing obstacle course of; struggles, opportunities, sweat and hard work. To celebrate a year of chatting to wonderful guests, finding their own version of happiness, former guest, entrepreneur and wellness speaker, Niraj Shah (@niraj5hah) decided it would be great to turn the tables and interview us; Holly Husler (@iamhollyhusler) & Adam Husler (@adamhusler).

About Niraj Shah

Lucky to recover from a sudden, serious brain injury at just 30 years old, I became obsessed with learning about health, vitality and the human brain (a.k.a. "what on Earth just happened to me and how do I stop it happening again??").

Today I’m involved in the intersection of well-being and technology, particularly tech being specifically used or developed to improve our brains and minds.

I am an investor in and advisor to a handful of well-being and technology companies, and European Co-Chair of Silicon Valley’s Transformative Technology Lab, the leading global community for well-being tech founders, innovators and investors. Previously I co-founded the online meditation and mental well-being movement Mind: Unlocked, and businesses in real estate & real estate technology.

I speak extensively on mental well-being and technology, leading sessions and workshops for Cisco, Starbucks, EY (Ernst & Young), ASICS, Wanderlust, lululemon, Digital Wellness Europe, MAD World Summit, The Future Laboratory and The Mayor of London amongst others, and have featured in publications like Men's Health, Human Window, Cosmopolitan and The London Evening Standard.

THE HOSTS

@adamhusler - Drawing from a variety of lives lived off the mat, Adam Husler brings a unique perspective to those who seek more from yoga than making pretty shapes. He offers creative, effective and clearly-sequenced teachings that focus on balancing flexibility and strength; physically and mentally. Educated by globally renown teachers, including Jason Crandell and Michael Stone, Adam specialises in a signature style of Alignment-Based Vinyasa— fuelled by a fascination with anatomy and a desire to ask ‘why?’.

Based in London, Adam teaches a robust schedule in one of the worlds top yoga studios, Triyoga, and world leading gym, Equinox. On top of this, Adam leads workshops, trainings and teaches festivals continuously around the world, leaving him with thousands of teaching hours under his belt and plenty of appearances in national and international media.
