#122 MATT GIORDANO - Understanding Biomechanics in Yoga
Driven by his passion for yoga and biomechanics, Matt teaches with a technique-focused, anatomy-informed approach that’s both transformative and joyfully lighthearted. Known for helping students bridge the gaps in their practice, Matt empowers them to reach new heights with his unique style.
Starting his career in Manhattan, Matt taught countless classes to make ends meet, struggling to fit into the traditional vinyasa mold. However, his focus on technique and biomechanics became his strength, leading to workshop opportunities and international recognition across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
In 2015, Matt founded Chromatic Yoga, a global yoga school dedicated to empowering teachers and students through education on biomechanics and technique. Chromatic Yoga values individuality, encouraging teachers to develop their authentic voice while honoring the Yoga Sutras with a non-dogmatic approach.
Now based on a hobby farm in Connecticut, Matt offers 200- and 300-hour online Chromatic Trainings, hybrid courses, and in-person events, continuing to inspire practitioners worldwide. @theyogamatt
